Has anyone noticed the same increase in fuel milage that I have noticed.

When driving while just barely feathering the accelerator up to speeds of 53 mph the truck was getting 18. 3 to 18. 8 MPG. Now i accelerate a little harder just enough to spin up the turbo(more air) and the mileage has jumped 22. 3 to 24. 2 average. Does this sound right?I don't think we have winter fuel changeover in Alabama.

I drive on county 2-lane 45 mph back roads mostly.

Just got to love those Cummins!!! :)
