My truck is a bone stock 95 with 81,000 miles. Last two tanks of fuel it has gone from 21-20 mpg to 16 mpg. Have not lost power and recently changed the fuel filter. I realize addatives are put in winter fuel and as I have had the truck since new I have never experienced this before during the winter. I do have a small leak in the area of the fuel strainer/heater that I plan to fix today after reading about it in the forum. I would appreciate any help you can give (todays fuel prices being what they are) I have a service manual. Thanks, Tom/Idaho

That fuel leak could be the problem, I would think. Have you replaced the return fuel line's that crack? What kind of driving do you do? Try a round of fuel additave. When did you change your airfilter? I live at about 9500 ft in the Mountains and we have limited gas stations and my average fuel lately in the winter has been around 15-16 mpg. Hope this helps

God Bless

Russ
