OVERHEAD GAUGE WIRING QUESTION

i have the isspro mechanical fuel guage, i have it hooked up using the replacement fuel filter cap from geno's garage. it always stays about 8-9 psi when idling and when i eccelerate moderatly it would drop off maybe 2-3psi tops. has always been this way, today i pulled a 4800lbs trailer for about 30 miles and fuel pressure gradually went up to 14psi when driving, and the guage did not move at all when i acclerated. when i disconnected from trailer i left the truck idle for about 10 minutes, got back in and guage was reading 25psi. as i started to drive ir gradually went back down to about 15-16psi, but even when i got on it hard the guage had no response at alll... . anyone have idea what could have caused this? is somthing not doing what its supposed to? thanks.

Count your blessings. Mine only reads 5-6 at idle, and drops down to 2-3 at WOT. Not sure why yours went up. I hooked mine up to the Cp3, which will give me the most accurate reading. Wish I could help, but if its up and staying up, I wouldn't worry. Just keep an eye on it. I'm having a FASS system installed soon, so I'm driving carefully until it gets put in.
