Travling to Southern Mexico Wednesday. Would like to find someone in Austin, Texas area that has a fuel pressure gauge/tester to check fuel pressure reading between lift pump and injection pump? Electrical fuel pressure gauge is showing erratic readings. Would like to verify that the problem is the electrical connector for/or fuel pressure sending unit and not the lift pump?

In a pinch, hit an auto parts store and spend the $30 on one. You can never have enough diagnostic tools in the tool box.

I've got a mechanical fuel pressure gauge in Austin..... locked in the toolbox of my truck at the airport while I'm in New Mexico.

I'll be back Friday, so if your trip gets delayed drop me a PM and I can check it out.

Now if I tell you that, where's the "thrill of the hunt"??

After all... Austin doesn't have that many parking areas for the airport. :D
