Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What to stack??

Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) An EZ Question

Yesterday while driving 50+ miles my fuel pressure would go from 12psig to 7 psig at 60mph then several miles later it would go to 11psig then back down again. In slower traffic as long as I could keep the boost up and rpm it would stay 1t 12 around 45mph. As soon as I lost boost it would drop to 7 and stay there. LP going south????

Crawled under truck checked connections and they were tight at LP. New fuel filter in with 1800 miles on it. At idle I get 13psig. Drive down the road and it will go to 7 then 10 down 7psig.

Have new LP and 10" of snow today should I change it out??

2002 4x4 EC Short bed with 4. 10 rear.

Thanks

Fuel Pressure

Sounds like the L/P is going. Mine did that and it was about time for it to be replaced. The problem i was also seeing was the boost not going over 14 lbs . That was going on for many many months a good sign that the vp-44 is on its was out.
