I relocated my stock LP to the frame last year and had 15+ lbs at idle and 12-13 at WOT. Life was good! In March I got dead pedal and Po216 code and installed a new VP44 from MWFI and fuel pressure was the same. A few weeks after the new VP44, one day it was 15+ and the next day it idled 14 lbs.

So I watched it for the last two months and today decide to install my spare LP, that I purchased before the big RV trip last fall.

Results: Fuel pressure is at 15+ at idle again! Life is good!

The VP44 from MWFI came with a new bypass valve and I had thought about swapping the old new back in to see if that was what lowered the fuel pressure. But! I really wanted to lay under "Snoking" for 15 minutes! That allowed a visual inspection of seals and such for signs of leaks etc.

So if the new LF goes 50K plus like the first one I will be happy! Probably will pickup another new one before this falls RV trip thru the Western States.

BTW! Vulcan sold me extra hose fittings for the spare pump, and I just put vinyl caps on the barbs for storage, so the swap was very easy and quick.

I also like the fact that I can purchase a new pump quickly just about anywhere on the planet!
