with the cruise set at 70 I noticed my fuel pressure fluctuating from 10 Psi to 5 back to 10 then to 0 then back to 10. Should I be concerned? I do not notice any changes in engine sound/performance. I'm 4000 miles into a road trip that will take me some 15-20 thousand miles.

Around 15k ago my lift pump was changed to the tank. I installed a pressure gauge last week.

I have an aftermarket lift pump, but even with an open bypass my pressure is steady when cruising. It fluctuates slightly when I get on the throttle, but it never moves when cruising at a steady speed. Sounds like your new in-tank LP is getting flaky.

You could try taking the service writer for a ride and showing him the gauge. Personally, I wouldn't trust that in-tank lift pump, especially with the mods you are running. That's why I switched mine out long before it could start giving me problem s. It's unfortunate that we have to spend our own money to fix these trucks right, but the DC solutions are weak at best. I really like the Walbro pumps, but there are several other good options as well.
