I am working on getting my gauges installed but I have a question on the fuel pressure gauge. Do I connect the isolator to the schrader valve on the injection pump? I have everything done but the isolator does not fit very well on the schader valve and I am afraid of cross threading. I didn't get any instructions with the gauges. Any advice will help. Thanks.

Well, to connect the isolator to the VP44 you can get a tapped banjo bolt from geno's that will accept the isolator. However, it would be best to mount the isolator somewhere else to avoid vibration. Get a grease gun hose about 18" long from an auto parts store and use it as an extension and mount the isolator elsewhere. You can also go to a air conditioning shop and get the fittings that will connect to the schrader valve and go to your isolator. I think i got my banjo bolt for a couple of bucks from genos.

If you use a standard greese gun hose on the schrader port, make sure and remove the valve stem. Otherwise, check with Genos, they sell a hose designed to work with the schrader valve. You also might want to consider installing a needle valve between the hose and the isolater (or anywhere else in the line) to reduce gauge needle vibration.
