Just finished installing the Westech FP gauge with remote sender unit. With all of the input from TDR members it went without a hitch. I also got the three gauge A pillar with tweeter, painted it to match and boy it really looks good.

QUESTION- I briefly took it out to see the pressures. I have the 98. 5 ISB so I put the 1/8NPT to the pre filter side. I get the following readings. At idle 8 PSI, WOT doesn't go below 4 PSI. Are these reasonable for a non bombed engine?

Thanks again for everyones input.

According to another member here (mopars1) that works at a dealer the STAR hotline (where dealers call to fix problems and get authorizations) has revised the specs. It used to be 10 psi at idle, now the spec is for 8 psi at WOT (under load I'd assume). Here is a reprint of his post:

Briar, I would like to step in here and tell all of you with the 24 Valve that according to DC the lowest you want to see at the injection pump is 8PSI at WOT under any conditions. They have upped the low pressure limit because of injection pump failures. Under load the pump is not getting enough fuel through it to lubricate it and if the pump clearances are a little tight you will have a failure if run at a lower fuel pressure over a period of time. Just a concern all of you might want to think about.
