I need to add a fuel pressure gauge to my truck. Problem is that i already have a three gauge piller mount set up and nobody makes a four gauge piller mount for my truck. I could get a column mount but it looks like i might have trouble seeing my dash, not to mention i am not crazy about how it looks. Have any of you guys ever mounted a fuel pressure gauge anywhere else in the cab. I thought mabye i could get a three gauge piller mount with the speaker hole in it and get a smaller pressure gauge mabye one of the 1. 5" ones and mount it in the tweeter hole. What do you think of this, will it work, and most importantly what is the diameter of the speaker hole.

Thanks in advance for your help. Oo. Oo.

Mines on steering column mount. Dash interference is no big deal. Have to tilt my head to the side a bit to see the wait to start. I like it.

Check my gallery for pics of where my fuel pressure gauge is. I've got it mounted on the plastic trim around the 6-sp shifter, just in front of the transfer case shifter. Easy to see, just have to glance down.

I have the three gauge pod on the pillar, so I mounted the fuel pressure gauge down by the four wheel shifter. I found a little plastic "L" bracket and mounted the gauge to one of the screws that holds the lower part of the dash on.

Low FP light

I have a three gauge mount on the A pillar, have a low fuel pressure light next to the middle gauge, light comes on if FP drops to 5 psi.

At some stage in the future may fit a FP gauge inside the ash tray, then if the light comes on, would just open the ash tray to read actual pressure.

I made my own quad pillar mount. I got a bullet mount from Genos and installed it next to the guage in the center of the triple pillar mount. It is level with the top guage and looks like it was meant to be there. I made two small holes in the mount to run the wires through and down behind the mount. If you go this route the bullet mount has a base with a sticky backing on it. Stick it in place then use two small screws to secure it. Have the guage allready installed in the bullet mount and secure it to the base. It does stick out a bit, but it does fit pretty good. My oil temp. guage is in the top and the fuel pressure guage is eye level with it just out to the side. This will only work on the center guage and the bottom one, there is not enough room at the top.
