Ok, I didnt get what I though (emailed back and forth to order, didnt fill out anything... not exactly what I wanted) but here is my question.

I just got an Autometer ultra-lite FP gauge, I thought it was going to be the electrial sending unit one... well its not. Its a mechanical, BUT, it came with an isolator. My question is this, does this mean I dont have to have fuel running into the cab, and also, does this mean I dont have to worry about fuel psi spikes killing the gauge? and on top of that, its only 15psi... . is that good enough? I only have the stock LP, but eventually I want to add a AUX pump near the tank.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Thats the same gauge i just installed... i put in a shut off vavle inline, and yea its a mech. gauge so there is a -4an line goin into the cockpit with ya if ya mount it inside. . sounds like they sent the snubber. . i could have gotten it here at the local speed shop but opted for the shut off valve... i have no problems with my gauge or spikes... . do a search on rmcnee and check out my info in my gauge install... hope this helps... . Russ

so basicly I got the "snubber" that is basicly like what the guys running shut off valves have? I am just curious thats all, I dont want to install this beast then be dissappointed that I got the wrong part.

thanks for the response.

Yea thats what you should have just goes inline between the source and the gauge, I was offered it but went with the shut off valve... if ya want some pics of my setup email me at -- email address removed -- later
