Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel pressure gauge

Guess I am snake bit. This is my second gauge failure. Both leaked around the bezel. 60# gauge with the snubber barely open. Really, almost not open at all. Takes a good 10 seconds of idleing befoe the thing reads pressure, so it is not the pulsations from the lift pump. Both leaked within 30 days of use.

What kind of gauge? Brand?

have you tried using a electronic pressure sending unit, such as the one that comes with the autometer fuel pressure gauge? i dont have the factory fuel system anymore, but ido have a fass, it was a simple install, and very accurate, and it would keep all fluids outside of your truck, if there were a leak. just some food for thought.
