I am looking for info. on putting a fuel pressure gauge on my truck. Will the 24V banjo fitting work, and at what location? Geno's tells me that supply pressure is not an issue, But TST leads me to believe otherwise, as Mark told me he put a pusher pump in the fuel line along the frame rail.

Yes, fuel pressure is a concern. Above 400rwhp, a pusher will be required. Others have had fuel pressure issues at 340rwhp.

The Banjo fitting from the 24v does work at the inlet to the CP3.

When you do install this, just be careful to be as CLEAN as possible. Don't want any contaminants in there at 1600 bar!

OK< now I got my gauge and when I put it on & turn the key it goes to about 10 psi. When I start the engine it jumps to about 10 psi, then slowly drops to 0 at an idle. It is a DiPricol mechanical gauge with isolator. I purged the line from pump to iso. , the instructions said if tube from iso. to gauge is less than 6' no fluid is needed. Any ideas. PS truck currently has on top end power.

Never worked with DiPricol guages but Autometer had fluid between iso and guage. Thier instructions also said to mount iso and gauge at same relative height to get most accurate reading.

LEPage,

You have a leak in the tubing between the isolator and the gauge. Redo the fittings on each end, using Teflon tape on the threads.

Either that, or your lift pump really is toast. If you don't get anywhere with the gauge/isolator, loosen the fuel line fitting at the isolator. If fuel squirts out, there's pressure there. If it just dribbles out, or doesn't come out at all (make sure you're not helping the fuel to come out via gravity draining - ie. hold it higher than the pump output), you've definately got lift pump problems.
