Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel pressure guage mounting

I'm thinking of mounting a mechanical guage in the little cubby hole below the airbag switch in my truck. Has anyone tried this yet? It doesn't look like it would be too much trouble but you never know...
