Where can I order a fuel pressure guage to check my pressure. Not a permanate one just one to check on occasion. Looked today at auto parts, only one they listed was $375, WOW gotta be something cheaper.

Thanks

Jared

Fuel gage

Someone makes a setup with a gage and a female shrader fitting to check fuel injected gasoline engine fuel pressure at the rail. I have one but I bought it at a flea market. I also have used just a standard fuel pump pressure/vaccum gage although I think it only goes to 10 pounds, they are reasonable and should be available at auto parts store. The one you priced must be to check injection pressure. You are talking about fuel transfer pump pressure aren't you? bg

if there is a autozone close to you, they sell a test guage with a schrader valve (which i robbed to use on my isspro f/p gauge) for around $30.

Autozone, Checker, Pep Boys, any of the usual chain parts shops should have them. Even their injection gauge kits are under $100. I would stop going to that other shop.

For a temporary setup on a 24 I just use a tire air chuck that has a lever on it to lock onto the Schrader, under $10 from the auto parts and a 30 psi pressure gauge from any hardware store, also under $10.

You can also make one from the hose and air fitting from an old sitting in corner for years bicycle pump. Just connect a gauge to a barbed adapter in the hose.
