I'm really having a hard time finding a small part. My fuel pressure high limit valve leaks around the threads in the rail. There is no washer or gasket on it. I searched the net and talked with a shop and they called Bosch and no joy. The question is what is used as a gasket for the valve, o ring, copper washer, seal washer or what. The rail is machined at the bottom of the hole and the valve is machined on the bottom. Does a copper gasket go in the hole? Is there a good breakdown on this or a part number somewhere?

Thanks TC. There is no gasket on the limiter valve. And no torque value that I could find anywhere. TC said that a common problem was cracking of the rail, so I did a dye pen inspection and it was good. Cleaned up both machined faces and installed valve with 90 in lb of torque. It test drove good. The Dodge breakdown shows the valve with no attaching hardware (seals). When ordering a rail they come with the valve, does anyone that builds the rails have a torque value to publish?

from the fsm

Install and tighten fuel limiting valve banjo bolt. Copper washer against fuel limiting valve, rubber seal against banjo bolt. Torque to 24 N·m (18 ft. lbs. ).
