Where are you guys getting your fuel pressure readings from... the filter or the rail? Talked to some people that have told me the rail pressure is increased with the edge Juice box installed and could possible 'blow' out the injectors. Didnt know if it is ok to monitor in the filter.

Thanks

Fuel Pressure, I got from the big line kit after my 7 and 2 micron filter just before the cp3. Rail pressure get monitored from the sensor inside the rail. They are 2 totally different readings. I don't believe the juice raises rail pressure directly.

If you are hooking up a fuel psi gauge the filter is a decent spot to hook up a gauge.

i have my LP fuel pressure measured right befor the CP3. and i also have a rail pressure guage... ... ..... not sure why as i dont to any hard core mods... ... but its a guage... ..... an looks cool! just one more piece of info i can monitor.

Who told you the Juice adds pressure? I wouldn't believe anything else they said if I were you.

Nope, no hot juice. The service writer at a local dealer mentioned it to me (not the dealer i deal with, just there for a bulb and started conversation). I wasnt sure to believe him or not so i figured i would ask here. He said he has seen trucks lock there injectors wide open and not be able to close and end up throwing rods.

Nevertheless, i was considering installing the fuel pressure monitor and thought i would see where the best place was, or of it was even necessary to monitor it in the rail, or if the fuel filter was sufficient.

Thanks for straightening me out on the rail pressure though. after he told me that it kind of made me scared to go over stage 3.

On your M. Y. truck the Juice doesn't add pressure in regular or the Hot tune, it does duration and timing (the Edge EZ is the pressure only box). If you have the pyrometer hooked up to the Juice and set it to defuel/backdown at 1400 degrees and the transmission slip detector is setup you can run up to level 5 for a short time and it will automatically backdown when things get too hot. But I digress I'm a power junkie and want all I can get.

If I was you I would take anything I heard from a service writer with a big grain of salt. I haven't heard of anyone "throwing a rod" from a stuck injector. Maybe a burnt piston or valve or fuel in the oil but throwing a rod? I doubt it.

It's not a bad idea to monitor the low pressure/lift pump at the filter so you know if your having a problem with that side of the fuel supply.

My 2006 Power Puck blew 4 of 5 injectors and filled crankcase with diesel fuel.

I used Power Puck for 7 months... ... ... ... want to buy it?

I think you meant 4 of 6 injectors???

Continued high rail pressures are bad for the CP3 pump, injectors and relief valve. Though some people cork the relief valve, I haven't yet.
