Could a fuel pressure regulator be used in place of the overflow valve? Seems like the regulator could be used to keep a constant fuel pressure and it would be easy to change pressures. I would think you could put a regulator on the return line and set it at 25 psi or more. I don't know if this would work or not because the fp psi changes as the rpm goes up. On my truck it goes from 25 psi at idle to 32-38 psi at high rpm. Any ideas? What do the big shots use on their 24v p-pump hotrods?
