I'd like to rig up a test guage (until I can get a set of guages) to check my fuel pressure. I have the hose from Geno's, what kind of guage can I attach to the end of it? Does it need to be anything special, or can I just throw something on the end of it like a plain 'ol 0-50PSI pressure guage?

If its an accurate guage, it work as a test guage even for diesel. Trouble is testing wide open throttle on the highway is tricky. :)

Get a long enough hose and tie-wrap it to your mirror. That's what I did when the dealer didn't believe me that my guage was reading 0psi. When they both read 0psi they believed me! I wouldn't leave it there too long as it looks kinda stupid!!!

When you do get gauges, I recommend something other than the Westach. I dont like how it looks, when my headlights are on, it doesnt read accurately and it doesnt look as good as my Autometers.

Agreed the Westach doesn't look as good as others - my dipricol egt and boost are much better. But not having a fuel line in the cab or an isolator to rupture is more important IMO.

Your accuracy problem with your headlights is a grounding problem. Don't run the gauge ground to the sender ground, then on to a ground point.

Run a wire from the gauge to a ground point, and run the sender to the SAME ground point. It should then read accurate like mine does.
