Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel pressure?

I need some advise on a 00', my bro- inlaw needs a fuel pressure gauge, and was wondering what is a "good" cheap way of keepin an eye on this?

The westach electric guages are the least expensive but I've been told the mechanical guages are more accurate. I run a Westach electric 0-16 psi. I periodicly verify mine with a mechanical guage.
