Fuel Pressure

I finally got off my butt and built a fuel pressure check rig to test my fuel pressure at the injector pump.



13 psi at idle.

4 psi at WOT.



Looks like I am ok at the moment, but before I add more fuel I need to ensure I have enough fuel to the pump to keep it cool and supply a 400 HP engine (yes, you read that correctly)



first off, I need to address my air flow requirements to keep a 400 hp engine below 1200F.

Let the fun begin!

I think the system I bought from www.smokindiesel.com is great even if I only have 383HP . I will have 400HP on the next dyno run. All you will need is several credit cards . Sam

well, all I am going to say is that I am looking at a turbo system with close to a 4:1 pressure ratio.
