I installed gauges about 15k miles ago and at idle 9#, cruise 6#, wot 0#. So a new lift pump was installed. When I turn the switch off the fuel press would fall to 0# and has done this for the past 15k, until yesterday now with the switch off fuel press drops to 3# or sometimes 6#. Its a mechanical gauge with isolator and when I loosen the bleed screw on the isolator fuel comes out and the gauge drops to 0# so that indicates the gauge is good. So is the LP holding pressure or what? if so is it anything to worry about? Pressure readings while driving are still good 14# idle, 13# cruise, 9# wot. Thanks guys & gals.

My mechanical guage is also holding pressure. I did not think that it would be a problem, but don't really know. Bottom line I would like to know the answer to this question also.
