Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel pressures

I anstalled a fuel pressure guage yesterday. I have 14psi almost all the time and it wil drop to 11 when I have my foot in it but will pick up to 12 even with my foot still in it. Is this acceptable?

That sounds like good pressures to me.

D/C's spec. is no LESS than 8psi at any time, especially at full throttle.

Sounds good.......

Mine was similar. Took a lot to get the gauge to move. After passing 25K miles it now seems to move a little easier so I am going with a rear mounted pump to help it along.

New pump puts out 15 to 16 Idle, 14 to 15 @ 70 mph and will not go below 13 @ WOT.
