I have a westach fuel pressure guage in my truck and it only reads 7-8 psi @ idle and 2-3 at wot and some times 0. But when I hook my maual guage up to the pump it reads 14-15 psi @ idle and 7-8 psi @ wot. Has anyone else had this problem with the westach guage? Is there a better guage out there? I am using the sport comp pyro and boost guages. Do they make a sport comp fuel pressure guage that can be mounted inside the truck?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mine did that when I first installed them. I found out that I had trapped air in the fuel line to the gauge. I mounted my sensor on the bracket for the accelerator cable and this is kind of high. Do it being so high it caught the air at the sensor making it read in error. All I did was put my sensor really low in my engine compartment for about 10 minutes to let the bubble migrate out and shazzam all better. I was frustrated later by air bubbles getting into the line due to lose fuel filter pumping. Tightened everything up and haven't had a problem in 10K miles.

Andy
