Planning a trip to TN and found this on the web. Thought it was helpful because you can put in your start and finish locations and it will list all the truck stops and fuel prices so you can plan out the most economical stops.

I just wish I found it first. Between googling truck stops, surfing truck stop web pages and staring at the GPS software to plan my trip out I found it last. I had already planned everything out and It confirmed I got it right. I could of saved myself an hour or so!

Hey Kenny, thanks for that great link.

In a couple of weeks I'll be towing a heavy equipment trailer to S. CA, for upcoming constuction project.

I was just thinking last night about fuel prices, and how not to try to stretch it too far, then end up paying an outrageous price. Like in Chicago, a year or so back, $5. 59/gal.

That hurt, even for 10 gallons.

I use that web site & it is pretty good & accurate.

The trip to Tenn went just fine and the trip mapper worked out good I think it was a 40 or 50 cent difference between the north and southern part of Tenn. I like to use it when I am going thru states that I am not familiar with. Using it Found diesel was 40 or 50 cents cheaper in New Hampshire so I wait till I get there to fill up. It adds up on the longer trips. Plus I found in NJ when the exit sign says diesel available it does no always mean nearby. Once I got off and found I had to drive about 10 miles to get to the station.

Thanks for an excellent tip. I've always planned vacation trips the way you described with mapping software and consulting the Flying J website but this site you provided provided it all in one location.
