I was just wondering what the price of fuel is getting to around the country. Ours has jumped to 179. 9 this week. How about a quick fuel price check?:--)

This thread was started a while ago, and it's rather interesting to see what the fuel prices around North America (and in Europe) are doing (going up, duh:rolleyes: ;) )

Fuel prices...

In San Bernardion CA (So. Cal) 1. 67. 9 on 2/3/03 at 76. I'm sure they are higher today. Ranges in area vary by up to $0. 25.

$ 1. 87 in Portsmouth, NH good incentive to go easy on the go pedal... . although I only seem to go from 19. 4 to 18. 2 with the heavier shoe

Here in Ellicott, It is 1. 799; Up form 1. 599 Monday; i saw $1. 439 at the Shell station by Chapel Hills Mall today. Didnt have any money with me, or I woud have topped it off. Going to take the Ford in tomorrow, and fill both tanks. (35 or so gal) . Went to Denver today, some statiuons were to be expected- same as had been; others sharply up; GAS is really up- premium was 1. 979 in one place.

Gotta love Illinois fuel prices!!

Dan

I hear ya. I'm lucky to live near the IN border, so guess where I fill up. IN has less tax per gallon, but they went up 2 cents at the beginning of the year, according to the guy at the station. They used to tack 5 cents on to the big truck price, now it's 7 cents.

Between what's going on with Venezuela and Iraq, they'll be able to come up with lots of good reasons to increase the prices. Oh, I better not get started..... #@$%!
