Needles, CA-$2. 29 for 87octane. If you drive 45 minutes away, in Lake Havasu, AZ you can buy 100 octace for $1. 99 and 87 is only $1. 69.

i filled up this morning at 1. 88 for diesel. premium was 1. 91. Makes me sick to think i paid that much. And its just getting worse.

Cheap gas isn't the only thing that Lake Havasu, AZ is known for... . ;) :-laf

Diesel should be cheaper than gas... . heck it's easier to refine, not as volatile as gas (no evaporative emissions, either!), etc..... all we can do is complain, because it's never going to change.

As long as we're willing to pay the price... I hear a lot of complaining about it but it hasn't slowed anyone down. If I run 70mph on the interstate, I still get passed like I'm in the way. The roads are as crowded as they've ever been. Every green light is a drag race. Apperantly it's not that big of a problem. Gas is still cheaper now than it was in 1980 when you adjust for inflation. (average wage/cost of fuel then and now). In 1980 it was equivelant to $2. 00-$2. 40 today. I'm glad I didn't opt for the V-10!
