The spring that controls the regulator in the FASS is loosing its strength. Which FASS do you have (FASS or FASS-2). The FASS has two filters, the FASS-2 has no filters on the pump.
You can change the springs out to control the fuel pressure, depending on which unit you have, I can post the instructions. Some of the earlier FASS-2 units has a weaker regulator spring in them, which produced only around 8psi of fuel pressure. You can either replace this spring or just remove it and streach it out a little, this will change the K of the spring and cause an increase in FP.
Another possible problem could be with the fuel sending (pick-up) in the tank. There is a screen on the end of the pick-up line that can get clogged with debris. If this is the case, then you need to either drop the tank or raise the bed, remove the fuel sending unit and clean the screen. Also, the FASS has high suction pressure, which could have collapsed the fuel pick-up line. If this is the case, you will need to replace the pick-up line in the tank. Do a search in the 2nd gen forums for fuel sending unit upgrades. There are some nice modifications that people have come up with using cast steel lines for the fuel lines in the tank.
Hope this helps.
