At what point does a person need to upgrade the stock fuel pump? How much horse power will the stock fuel pump deliver? Anyone with real world before & after? Will a FASS increase the power on a 450 HP truck if it was the only upgrade?

The best thing to do is upgrade the fuel lines to -8AN including the fuel pickup assembly. I put a "draw straw" from Vulcan Performance that I modified and put in my pickup and ran big lines all the way to the lift pump. With that the stocker will flow adequately, that sucker pumps fuel big time. Last year I was hauling a car on a flatbed and the fuel line right at the injection pump split in half. Despite the fuel line being completely broke in two the lift pump kept pumping enough fuel to the P7100 that my truck kept running like nothing was wrong, 70mph with a load! AND during all that it dumped 5 gallons of fuel on the highway in less than a mile.
