I need some options on the cheapest yet reliable fuel pump for my truck . I am only getting 7psi at Idle . I also will be instaling new 1/2" fuel lines . Can I use a new fuel pump in series with the old one? Will the old one handle 1/2" fuel lines , or will it act as a dam? If I instal 1/2" lines , how far back to the tank do I actually go? What do the vulcan kits do ? Are they right from the tank? And what can I do , as far as the banjo , to make the most fuel enter the IP ,I will only be using the stock line on start-up and shut down .
To explain I'm converting to run on veggy oil... . which will run off a FASS pump/filter combo .
Please don't turn this into a veggy oil warning thread , I'm well aware of the risks and the vp-44 .
I'm just about to run my veggy lines , so I figure I will run new stock lines , and I have to fix the psi problem on the current stock system . I'm spending alot of money on the FASS , so I would really like to go the cheapest route on the stock system . And I have considered using the FASS for both , but decided not to .
Thx guys
