Fuel pump pressure gauge

Hey y'all,

I am getting things together to install a gauge to tell me what my fass 150 is running at. I have the Big line t-fitting and a fuel pressure sensor i will connect to my edge cts monitor. My question is have far back from the CP3 should I be installing this fitting into my blue line from the Fass. Edge told me I don't need a snubber valve so I didn't get one. Do you feel its a must for this?

Electric pumps do not need snubbers
Mount the sensor after the f/filters as close to the i/p as practical

So i could install this say 4-5 inches back from where the feed line from the Fass system attaches to the CP3?
