Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fuel pump runs always

The lift pump does not cycle and then turn off when I turn the key on, it just runs continuous, any ideas thx

There is a reflash available to cure that from Dodge. Is the truck hard to start?

yes it is hard to start. This all started when a fass (stand alone type) was installed. not sure why

I would take it to the dealer and get the lift pump reflashed. I had mine reflashed right after my lift pump install and never had an trouble.

I had the opposite, no pump or heaters on pre start, reflashed = fixed. Also FASS was on for 100k, It just stoped one day for no reason.

If this issue started with the installation of the FASS, I'll bet something did not get correctly hooked-up. I'll bet it has something to do with the relay. Does removing the relay stop the pump? Have you tried swapping out the relay (there should be a relay in the under-hood fuse box that will work).
