Need a little help. One of our trucks is a 97 12v CTD, 5 spd, 4" ex . The truck is stock. I understand that there is a plate that can be removed on the back side of the pump and adjustments can be made to the fuel rack. I may have the terminology wrong but you get my drift. Also, on the 1st gen in-line pumps, you could sneak the pump ahead 1/8 " . Is there any adjustments that can be made in this area on the 97's? Any help here would be appreciated.

There are about 20 different adjustments on the P pump , the rack in maybe one of the last ones to do , depending on what it is your doing , which begs the ? what are you looking for ?
It would seem that you may want to get some knowledge [ reading hear & other sites ] before jumping in to do the unknown .
What most recommend before adding HP & TQ is a set of gauges [ exhaust temp , boost pressure , fuel pressure ] before .
Then there are some weak points to address before much HP , with the 5 spd , a clutch to hold .
The point being that in order to gain more HP & TQ for the least damage & money , you start with a plan , how far do you want to go , what are you doing with the truck .

Just get a TST Power Kit. It is already engineered for the fueling increase needed for a specific power level, and to give control of egt to the extent they advertise. In other words, with a #10 you will get high egts unless you do other things that they specify, but the 11 or 12 for the 215 HP engine are set up to control egt pretty well, and that is critical.
