Archived Bad Crank position sensor, twice

00 truck,recently died on freeway. Diagnostic reading p0252 injection pmp metering control range/perfromance at this time. Have banks ottomind stingr plus since 0202. Spent 4k in 0204 4 rebuilt injector pump & new pcm,naturally shop blamed banks kit. Sent ottomind 2 banks 4 diag & they claim no probs caused by their/my kit. The original codes 4 problem in 0202 were p1690 & companion code of p1694. According 2 all involved w/ diag in 0202 the codes were exclusive to my truck & no one could obtain any pertinant information to assist in trouble shooting. I was too stupid 2 request assist from tdr. 1 month later in 0304 my lift pump took a dump. Truck never ran as it should have after problems in 0202. Mpg deteriorated drastically,temp went from constant 190 to varying up to 210 & tach needle has waved at me like i was it's best friend on a continual basis while idling. Another major concern is the temps my truck had obtained when it died on freeway. Any guidance offered by u folkes out there would be greatly appreciated. I am apprehensive about the shop that fixed my truck in 0202-0304 since they removed my parts & sent them out 2 Southwest Diesel here in phoenix. thank u 4 ur time. -- email address removed --.

lil help????? 00 5. 9 ltr 6 spd manual w/ banks ottomind. someone,anyone?
 
Not sure on all of your codes but the tach waving at you all the time is a telltale sign of a crankshaft position sensor problem, may also of been what caused you to die on the road, the sensor is easy to replace. Mabee those codes arent "real" due to a problem with the crank sensor. Just thinking out loud.....
