Well, it was such a nice day I decided it was high time for my fuel screw to lose it's virginity
All I can say is:--)
First I turned it in about 1/2 turn... made a 10 mile test run.
I liked that so much, I made another 1/2 turn adjustment... . then had to turn the idle down... it had climbed about 150 rpm.
Made that same test run again... . yikes!! I think I can run with most of you guys now!!!
I'd say my EGTs went up maybe 100 deg... not at cruise but on a bonzai run... . I was able to hit 1200 ... going up a good sized hill, truck was empty, speedo was at 90 and the boost gage had long been pinned at 30...
Got some good smoke now..... not enough to block out the sun, but I did a pretty good number on an explorer that tried to crawl up my butt
I think I'll make some adjustments to lighten that up a scosh.
