A question for those of you that have done the fuel sender repair. Is it truelly a long term fix or is it something that is going to be a reoccuring problem-multiple repairs?
The reason I ask is that I'm contemplating the gage pillar mount and would have room to add another fuel gage. I was looking at a Westach dual gage that would also read an auxillary tank. This gage would use a 5-volt sending unit that has no float, thus no moving parts.
If the sender fix is permanent, which fix is the best?
Thanks
Kim
