I've decided on the bed lift method for getting at my fuel sending unit. I have a question that will probably answer itself when I start the job, but I've never read about it on any posts. When you lift the bed, do you lift it from the side or do you lift the front? Does the receiver hitch interfere with lifting it from the front?

I do mine like illflem.

I remove the bolts on the left, and only loosen the bolts on the right, and lift from the side.

Hitch does not get in the way, but becareful you don't hit the quarter panels under the tail lights with the bumper corners.
