Can someone tell me what the approx. cost is for a factory replacement fuel sending unit (96, 2500, 4X4)? I "thought" I'd seen earlier posts that said they ran ~$66. 00. Maybe I'm having a senior-moment!

The sender, part number 4797738, is about $35 from most dealers unless you have a lame parts guy that tries to tell you that you have to buy the whole module for $300.

From what I understand, the 4797738 part number is for 94-96 trucks only. Mopar4less told me that my '98 12v sending unit is part#4897670AB. Has anyone else heard this?
