2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel sending unit wire

I put a transfer tank in the bed on my dads 97 12 valve & im trying to find the correct wire for the fuel sending unit. I will tap into the harness in front of the stock tank but i cant find what color the wire is. The tank has a electric sender in it that allows the stock gauge in the dash to work on both the stock tank & the transfer tank. There is also a switching valve that i have wired to a toggle switch in the cab to switch from one tank to the other. Thanks for all replys.

According Hayne's manual, it should be dark blue 20 ga. wire. bg

I think it has a bright orange tracer too (94-97)
