Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) fuel shut off selinoid went bad.

my fuel shut off selinoid went bad the other day and after it went bad i noticed that i had no tach and speedo. what would cause this last time i didnt have a tach and speedo it was my crankshaft positioning sensor. any ideas.

Are you sure its the solenoid? They are a well built part and seldom go out, more than not its the relay. Maybe the sensor is bad again.

well i guess i never really thought about the relay, oops. and far as the tach and speedo, im not really sure. the sensor is more or less bran new (still could have went bad). is just seems weird that at the same time the truck dies like its out of fuel the tach and speedo go blank. ill have to see what i can find thanks for the input.
