For the last 3-4 days, I have been seeing a small circle of fuel left on my driveway. It appears to be coming from the fuel filter area, as my inner fender well area is wet also. I haven't had time to really get in there yet, too many jobs. My question is, if the fuel filter is getting clogged, would that cause an overflow effect? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, as always. Rattle On!!!

Sounds like your rubber feed/return line(s) may have a leak in 'em...

Or the filter could be leaking...

Or the lift pump could be leaking...

Fuel leaks will usually cause a hard-start or a low power sitation since it's sucking air...

Ya gotta do a little trouble shooting. It could be:

Hoses

Filter

Wif switch

Banjo fitting on filter

Fuel heater

Pre filter

Lift pump push button

Lift pump O-ring

Loose fitting

Or a combination of any of the above

Have fun.

Just follow your fuel hoses from under the drivers door inside of the frame. (metal to stainless flex) I had a rub-through leak of the metal return there just before the flex connector. Fuel hoses go up onto the bell housing which is a b*tch of a spot. Metal lines from housing connect to rubber hoses about ~14" long. feed is larger than the return, then to fuel heater/etc. . I have to do this also soon, as mine have just begun to seep. . Dont have an air problem yet, but it wont be too long off... Probably going to replace all rubber components in that area, as theyre on 8yrs now.

Sorry for delay in answering. I found a rusted pin hole on the back side of the fuel filter, so I replaced both filter and sensor. Now all is wonderful again. My sincerest thanks to all that replied, your the Best. Rattle On!!!
