Ok , need some help , I have a very strong fuel smell. Thought it was the fuel filter and replaced same along with the new seals. Still smell it. The block seems wet all over so I realy cant see where it might be comeing from. Any suggestions where to look or how to trouble shoot it down is appreciated. :{

Check the lift pump on the block. It's located under the fuel filter and mounted on the engine. The seals will start to leak and sometimes it can leak into the oil so check it out.

First, clean it all off real well. I use straight Simple Green, and a water hose. Spray the SG on, let it set a few minutes, and spray it off. Might dry it off a little. THen start it up and look for fuel sripping or puddling up. Fuel heater and lift pump would be my first places to look, then at the injector pump.
