Hey everyone, some of you might remember, but I parked my truck for the winter and y'all suggested I just park it and not run it for the winter and then in the spring before start-up to disconnect the fuel solenoid and crank the engine till theres oil pressure then re-connect it. I'm not really sure where the solenoid is. Also does anyone have that diagram of our 12valves, I have seen it before, but I cant seem to find it on here. Thanks everyone!!! I cant wait to fire the oil burner up! Oo.

Thanks Pastor Bob, I was looking at my Dad's this past weekend when I was home and I was telling him I thought that is what I needed to disconnect, but I wanted to check w/you all before. Thanks again for the help, I appreciate it!

I just fired my oil burner a few days ago. I removed the wire and achieved oil pressure. I honestly could not recall that turbo whistle being that loud. I warned it up @ 1200 rpm and the whistle was very pronounced. I was suprised.

It drives great. Makes me want to let it set for fear of braking something or risk some idiot hitting me!!!

I had forgotten how rapidly it hits 30 psi. Passed an Amish buggy on a hill and gave her a shot of fuel at part throttle. She began to scream and build pressure. Far cry from the Ford Ranger you know... ... . It's tough to pass a buggy with THAT thing :-laf

Haha yea I know exactly how you feel. The other day when I was coming back down here to school, some old lady pushing a shopping cart passed me going up a hill on the highway!!!! Its true :-laf !!!!! But ya know what, as much fun of my Ranger as I make, it did its job and kept the Cumapart out of the salt, and for that it should be commended!

How true, how true. Only I was passed by a tortis going DOWN hill.

Perhaps some day I'll replace my 21 exhaust housing with a 12... ... na. I kinda like the exisiting head gasket. :)
