my cousins truck(94 in sig) is haveing a fuel shut off problem it seems to be working ok right now but there are times that it just wont shut off the solenoid moves what looks to be right but it wont shut down have to stall it. i was looking at it and like i said operates fine but im thinking maybe the rod isn't adjusted right. can it be adjusted? if so how? also could it be something internal thats not right? truck rines fine just doesn't always shut down when you want it to anyways any helpo would be appreciated thanks in advanced.

Solenoid needs taken apart and cleaned out. Remove the linkage and the plunger will pretty much fall out of the body. Be careful not to rip the boot (if it isnt already), and clean it out with a rag and some WD40... clean the plunger side as well. .

Other than that, could be the relay hangin up and not droppin current, might have a bad relay. . try testin voltage when it fails. If the controlling relay hasnt been replaced, now probably would be a good time to do so...

good luck
