Has anybody had any luck removing the yellowish stains on a dually fender that result from spilt fuel? I have been very careful since I bought this pickup but last week it happend! I read a couple of older discussions on this subject but wanted to see if anybody had any new ideas. Thanks for the help.

Don't know that I can help with the stains, but since our 3500 dually is a bright white SLT+ Sport, I was worried about fuel stains when we ordered it. I got one of the "fuel bibs" from Geno's Garage that mounts around the filler neck and flips out to cover the fender below the fuel neck when fueling. It's worked great so far - over 2 years and no fuel stains.

90+K miles and no stains... but if I spill a drop I wash it off before I leave the fueling station. .

there was a thread about this a long time ago... no one had a total answer other than repaint it with a different type of paint

Heck, My fenders came pre~Yellowed from the factory! I am so due for a repaint on those things. The yellow nylon , poly , whatever they are constructed from seems to show thru very easily! Once I repaint them I will mask out the area with this double thick 3Mcrystal clear plastic sheeting I have (Has been exelent on my ZX9R's headlights!) so I am going to lay that on after repainting to help prevent the new paint from fuel damage.
