What air bag pressure to run?

Pullrite 5th

I was woundering if anyone has had problems with water contaminated gasoline coming fron there fuel station in there toy haulers. I did on the first trip and had to tow through a lot of rain on the way. The gen ran fine but the fuel that came out of the nozzel for the toys had water in it ( about a cup or two). I was woundering if the water came from the manufacturer or got in from all the rainy freeway driving. Its been ok since the first time.

Also what brands of fuel conditioners do you like to extend the storage time of the gas. Thanks for your experiences Bill

Since the fuel filler is open to the elements. I recommend getting a rubber/plastic cap/cover for the nozzle. It will keep the dirt and water out of that end of your gas line. I use STABILL fuel stabilizer for the gas in the tank. It's a real good idea to use some unless you are going to use it ALL up in short order.

I second both of the recommendations. That is also what I use and I put a cap on end of nozzle. Stabill lasts for years

Are you saying that with stabill added to the gas it would be good for years? and not go bad?

And on the filler nozzel I agree. Its in that compartment thats open to the elements and on mine its behind the rear tire and would get showered by the rear tire during rains. Bill

I've used Stabil in 5 Gal. Type 1 Safety cans for gasoline storage. Type 1 storage cans have a spring loaded lid which closes out any air from getting in or fumes from getting out. I've routinely kept gas good for 2-3 years and several times for 4 years. After opening these cans back up, the gas still evaporates quickly, smells fresh and burns clean.

In a vehicle gas tank, which is not as air-tight as a Type 1 Safety Can, I don't let it sit more than 1 year. Chemical reaction to air, and evaporation of the volatiles is what ruins gasoline.

YEARS!!!! I have a 4 year old genarator that has the first tank of gas still in it. 2 weeksago I used it for some sand blasting and second pull she started and ran great. This is why I put it in the toy hauler. I add it to the tank off and on, so I know she's good to go and for thye quads. Stabil kick's a$$Oo. You ca't go wrong! It will make a beleiver of you.

The stabill Fuel treatment is good and does work very well. I also like the Amsoil product line, they have a gas stabilizer that works well too. Also the TOYS, in my case Quads. Work very well with there Series 2000 Octane boost. I also would recommend there 2-stroke series 2000 oil, it burns very clean, reduces smoke and works well. Same for there 4-stroke motorcycle oil, it's all good from Amsoil.
