Fuel supply upgrades.

I will be receiving a cummins piston monday but I will be dropping the fuel tank this week end to clean the tank and see if the pickup can be improved. I also want to replace the fuel lines with 3/8" hose. Any suggestions for in the tank mods? I haven't been in there yet so I don't know what's in there.

I think Stomp posted up some pictures of his tank mod(s). I can recall veiwing a 1/2" or 3/8" 90° brass fitting in the top of the tank.



I think you'd be wise to do this now with the tank down but certainly not worth while if you don't plan to push the envelop.

The 2nd gen tank units will fit and they have 3/8 fittings already.

If you give Brad @ Ponci's Diesel Center a call I know he has some on the shelf. 1-707-725-3307. I dont know where he gets them from??? Maybe Fass??? I am not sure.
