Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel system help

hello everyone,



I have been following the forum for some time now and am undecided on what to do about my fuel problems. The dealer installed a new vp44 at 35k and new lift pump. At 75k the lift pump went out again and they installed the in tank setup. I am getting crappy fuel pressure (0 at wot with comp cranked up) and would like to bring it up. Should i do away with the in tank pump completley and if so is there a draw straw kit available that will replace the in tank setup (vulcans kit wont and they say to check out the draw straw II but i cant find it)? Can i get away with adding a secondary pump on the frame rail? I want to try to fix this fuel pressure problem without draining my wallet.

The FASS would be a great choice.

Glacier is another good alternative.

You will save a lot of time and cash by going with a good system. Either go with a FASS (HPFP or the Full sytem) or a Walbro kit. Definatly go with the Draw Straw II. FWIW: The Draw Straw II is what will be in all our kits that require a Suction Tube Kits... ... we have been working with Eric and he is helping us out with these...
