so i have decided to take the 2micron setup out of the engine bay, and remove the stock filter houseing to free up some room in there. what for, im not sure
so here are some pictures of that i ended up doing. i mounted the new dual filter head set up on the crossmember behind the t-case so i would have enought room under the truck.
I cut the stock pressure line and added a compression fitting to it so i could add a JIC "AN" fitting and line to the filter houseing. i hade bought a bunch of stainless 3/8 hard line, but got lazy and just modified the stock line. still looks great. if you have to flare hard line, having the right tools helps. i have a JIC flare tool for stainless lines. works great! ( i have even gotten good at it!)
i used a GDP filter delete plate to replace the stock filter housing. i do need to cap off the two connectors for the WIF light and heater. but here is what i have! let me know what you think. im not sure how to post with , text then pic, text then pic, but here ya go!
