fuel system setup?

I have a 1994 5. 9 with a p7100, in a 86 chevy truck with duel tanks no pumps in tank and was wondering if lift pump will be able to pull from the tank and through the selector valve all with 3/8 line. Or should I install a pusher pump at each tank?? motor has several mods timming, delivery valves, 370 hp injectors, twins .....
